This is the very first photo ever taken of us together. It was at a company cookout shortly after our workplaces merged. We barely knew each other, I was definitely feeling the effects of a few drinks, and neither of us had any idea this would be the beginning of forever.

Since we worked at different locations, lunch became our excuse to spend time together. We were always searching for somewhere “halfway” between Oklahoma City and Edmond, which usually ended with Erica arguing that it wasn’t actually halfway. Looking back, the location never really mattered. We just wanted to see each other.

Now, we’re looking forward to our greatest adventure yet, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with the people we love most.
